Nothing important, I just felt a need to share that I reached 666 views the other day and happened to check my blog at the right time, so I was able to capture the moment.

ShitSwamp - Septic Tank Incubation

The RSSP posting continues. Shit, if I continue posting stuff as infrequently as I have been, it's going to take me ages to get through everything, because I still have probably two or three dozen things to post.
But anyway, ShitSwamp is a pretty new project, as far as I know, and it's pretty rad. There's not really much to say about it, honestly, it's just three and a half minutes of well-crafted gorenoise. I hope he'll do more with this project in the future rather than setting it aside after the one demo, because something about this one really does it for me.

Anemia - Hypoxiatometmyo Blabglobulin Lymphopsytacsis Regain

Bobby Maggard did the unthinkable and made a gorenoise demo with vocals and drums only. Each song consists of drums that are only present in brief bursts and vocals that are a continuous, drawn-out groan, with a bit of reverb over it all, which makes for a much more atmospheric listening experience than you typically find in gore. You might be disappointed if you keep thinking that a guitar or bass will kick in at some point like I did, but I love weird shit, so I thought it was interesting. I think the closest point of comparison that I know is olm, the equally weird Big Frog side project.
