Human Rubbish Bin - Heaps of Human Waste
And we're back to gorenoise. Human Rubbish Bin is pretty conventional stuff (and there's nothing wrong with that), aside from two distinctive features. One, the vocals, rather than being the usual gurgling or puking, sound almost like howling wind, which I think is pretty cool. Two, the snare sound is odd in a way that I can't really even describe. I'm afraid I'll just sound dumb and not make much sense if I even try describing it, so I won't try. But if you want to know what I'm talking about without having to download the demo, the first three songs from it were posted on Youtube by Bobby Maggard himself, so you can always take a look there.

Gorgonized Dorks / Ghost Magnet Roach Motel
Uhh, I don't know, I'm not feeling too inspired to write very much about this one. But let's face it, in all likelihood you're just here for the Gorgonized Dorks material and don't give a shit about Ghost Magnet Roach Motel. As suggested by the title, this split is a live performance from each band. Gorgonized Dorks more or less does their usual thing for eleven minutes, then Ghost Magnet Roach Motel provides seven minutes of some incomprehensible nonsense.
This is my first non-Bobby Maggard related post in quite a while. There's still plenty more of that stuff coming though.

Cochliomyia Hominivorax - Demo #1
Cochliomyia Hominivorax is a project started just this year, I think. There's a noticeable aesthetic similarity to Black Putrefaction, and I'm reasonably certain that CxHx was named after the song by that project as well. That's about the full extent of the similarities between the two though. As opposed to the unique and awesome atmospheric stuff that Black Putrefaction did, this project is more straightforward cyber-ish gorenoise, which is also awesome. Each song has a bit of a stop/start dynamic, but for the most part this demo just blasts away for nine minutes, with the high-speed drum machine as the focal point of the music. It doesn't really sound like normal gorenoise due to the cybergrind influence - I'd almost say it has an alien feel due to the particular effects used on the vocals and the clarity with which the instruments can be heard. This clarity takes away the filthiness that's normally present in gorenoise, but it's certainly noisy, and I really enjoy it.
