I think I talked about this split in a previous CuntPump post (shit, that must have been like two years ago). So yeah, it's way past time to get this out there. Urachus has a more standard sound than Jordan Dyment's main gore project Punctured Esophagus, but I like this one better. Check out the Bandcamp pages for both, links are in the names. Jordan is a good guy and is worth supporting.
This was the last of the previously unreleased material for Bobby's best and most brutal gorenoise project and it holds up with the other releases I've heard. There was also a re-release of the Severely Mangled Cunt demo (which most of us probably didn't know existed in the first place, let's be honest) in early 2017, featuring some new material recorded in late 2016. I don't think it was meant as a comeback though, and as far as I know it's finally really been over for CuntPump since then.
There's one copy of this for sale on discogs, don't sleep.

Cunts - Live at Studio Dom
I think I learned of Cunts around four or five years ago when they did a show with another Japanese band I was following. What little I could learn of them fascinated me (a noisecore band consisting of vocals and drums and vocals only? If that doesn't sound like the best thing ever to you, I don't know why you're here), but I made multiple attempts to find their music and never found anything to download. I think they've become a little more known since then, which is cool, although it's a hard thing to judge since they're not exactly easy to google. At any rate, I was able to get this tape in 2015 or 2016 and finally satisfy my curiosity. To put bluntly, it sounds exactly the way you would expect a vocals-drums noisecore band to sound, but in the best way possible.

Violent Inhalant - Black Acid Temple
The dude behind this project was a friend of mine who died five years ago. I didn't know him for a long time, but I still think about him often. I got this about a year ago after wishing I had some of his music for a long time. Out of all the things I own, this is one of the most special because it's like having a part of him with me again.
This album has elements of a few different styles within the noise umbrella, but they never make it feel the album lacks a cohesive identity. Every part makes perfect sense where it is. Toddler Hunting is death industrial bordering on dark ambient and is one of the most genuinely creepy and foreboding songs I've heard (not even because of the name). It builds substantial tension leading up to the explosive release of A Shadow in the Skull, the only song here with vocals. This one is brutal power electronics and harsh noise, absolute anguish. Complacent Refinery essentially serves as a bridge between A Shadow in the Skull and the closer Beatrice Dalle and both are more on the industrial side. Beatrice Dalle retains some of the intensity of the previous two tracks, but makes it clear that it's
all over and everything is fading away.
Check out the Amputape bandcamp. Most of the releases only have a single track up to listen to, but it would be worth your time regardless. Jimmy played and released some of the darkest shit I've ever seen, both aesthetically and musically.

Cadaveric Incubator of Endoparasites / Detruncated Corpse / Hyperuricemia
Detruncated Corpse: Bobby Maggard and The Love Doctor
Hyperuricemia: Bobby Maggard and Andrea Laurenti
I figured maybe Cadaveric Incubator of Endoparasites was one of Bobby's too, but it's not on this handy list of every project he's ever done so I guess it's a mystery. A Google search turns up nothing but results related to the Carcass song of the same name.

Autopsy Festival / Liquified Organ Catheter / Infected Bloated Lung / Vomiting Through an Infected Tracheotomy
Two Love Doctor projects (Autopsy Festival and the Tracheotomy one), one Bobby Maggard project (Liquified Organ Catheter), and one project by some dude named Frank (Infected Bloated Lung. I didn't previously know anything about him but turns out he's responsible for Neobatrachia, Bowel Eatery, and some others and he has a Bandcamp page collecting some of his stuff).

3XA - Una Cesta de Gatitos
The fact that Bobby Maggard did a goregrind album that's unironically dedicated entirely to cats gives me life. It's basically the best thing that's ever happened in the genre.

Cystic - The Last Days
I've been at a loss for what to post next, so I want to do something a little different and talk about/promote a band I got to see recently. I went in knowing basically nothing about the band except that they were from Seattle and described as deathgrind on the flyer, but that was enough to interest me since Seattle has been responsible for some solid grind recently. Cystic plays a seriously old school style, definitely very death metal, but I hear a heavy thrash metal influence as well. I'm talking the extreme, proto-death metal shit like Sepultura and Morbid Saint. I mean, I was thinking they sounded like early Sepultura reincarnated as a grind band even before they played the Anticop cover. To be honest, I kind of want to say they're essentially playing death/thrash metal with the intensity turned up to 11 and that's where the grind feel comes from more so than the use of grindcore riffs or anything. It's in the vocals as well, while they're harsher than what you'd generally hear on a thrash metal album (with the exception of Paranoid), there's often a thrash metal feel to the delivery of the lines.
In short, Cystic is a sick deathgrind band (or something like that) that puts on a killer live show, and also channels the spirit of 80s thrash metal better than any actual thrash revival band I've heard. They also get points for having a song named after a Jim Van Bebber short. I'm going to be looking forward to seeing what they do next.
I'm not going to post a download for this since the tracks are all up for listening on Bandcamp already. If you really want to get the songs without paying you can find a guide on how to do it somewhere, it's not hard.

Womb Raiders - The Purge
Sci-fi themed experimental (gore?)noise, reminiscent of Eye Gouging Mayhem or Black Putrefaction.
