This has been out since mid-2017 so I'm pretty surprised it doesn't seem to be posted anywhere. I hadn't previously listened to either of the artists on this collab (and I really should be familiar with Jason Crumer at least considering that he's a major figure in US harsh noise - though in my defense I'm really more about power electronics and death industrial than straight HN). So it's hard to say exactly how like or different from either one's other material this is, but I think I can pinpoint what each individual contributed here. It has some moments that sound more harsh noise and others that sound more like something else (I don't know enough about non-noise electronic music to say what exactly), and while it definitely doesn't sound like a traditional harsh noise track, it does have a harsh edge throughout. The description that keeps coming to mind for me is malfunctioning dance music. It doesn't strike me as amazing or anything, but it's interesting and a decent way to spend 24 minutes every so often.
